Firefly Room

Verna has worked with children for over 30 years!   She loves working with the infants.   During her free time, Verna enjoys reading book and riding motorcycles with her husband. 

Rose is from the Caribbean.  She moved to Illinois in fall of 1988. Rose has worked in childcare for 25 years. She truly enjoys being apart of my classroom kids life and seeing them develop and grow into young adults and have families of their own. Rose looks forward to getting to know the kids and family at Little Jewels. In her free time, she like to watch movies, travel, and to go thrift shopping.

Hi, I'm Chloe! I've worked at Little Jewels since May 2024, starting in flamingo and moving into firefly later. I've lived in Illinois my whole life, and I have two cats, named Mac and Cheese. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, playing video games, and learning the basics to whatever foreign language catches my attention.

 Hello! My name is Danielle, currently I am a student at Illinois State University and majoring in psychology. I have always loved working with children and took a class in high-school where I taught in our preschool. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends, reading, and exploring new places. I can’t wait to get to know your “little jewels”.

Hello, I am Arianna! I am a senior at Illinois State University majoring in family and consumer science. I enjoy baking, rollerskating, and bowling! I've been with little jewels three years, and originally started in the turtle room. Currently I am a closer in Firefly!
