Hi, my name is Kevin, I am a husband of 27 years, 4 children, all in college, My wife and I attended Eureka College, I received my BS in Physical Fitness Leadership. My wife is in Childcare Management. I enjoy working with my hands. In my free time I own a lawn mowing/repair business.

Hello my name is Roy, I was born in Bloomington at St. Joseph’s Hospital. I had graduate from Bloomington High School and had enjoyed working at Steven’s Bakery and Merle Pharmacy while in high school. After high school, I attended keyboarding school, some programming, and accounting classes at ISU. I then moved on to work for Carbery & O’Roake for 13 years after graduating as their computer operator. In 1963, I married Sue, and we have been married for 34 years. We have five children: Jan, Angie, Beth, Stephanie, and Steven. Together we also have eight grandchildren. I have worked for Calvary Baptist Church in Normal for 36 years before I retired. I love my current adventure as a bus driver for Little Jewels!

Hi my name is Ann. I am originally from Odell, IL, and I moved to Bloomington 9 years ago to attend college. I studied Family Consumer Science at Illinois State University where I receive my bachelor’s degree. I love being around my family and friends in my spare time. I look forward to meeting the families and children that attend Little Jewels Learning Center!

My name is Ashley Mitchell. I am from Minier Illinois but have called Bloomington home for the last 20 years. I have been in child care for 20 years and have two of my own. I love cooking and interior design.

 Hi! I am a sophomore at ISU. My major is undecided at the moment, but I want to work with kids in the future. I am from Peoria. I love to hang out with my friends, family and my dog and cats.

 Hi! My name is Riley, I am a student at ISU where I major in Special education and have a minor in early childhood education! I absolutely love working with children and being able to make meaningful impacts in kids lives! Working at Litttle Jewels allows me to get amazing experience for my future career as a teacher, and it is such an amazing opportunity!

 Hi! My name is Evelyn and I am currently a senior at Illinois State University majoring in Education. I have been at Little Jewels since August 2025, and I have always loved working with kids! In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends, listening to music, and going on coffee runs.

  Hi, my name is Norra. I’m excited to be a part of LJLC. I enjoy playing, spending time outside, and celebrating fun new discoveries and milestones with the children both in and out of the classroom.

 I attend Illinois State University, where I am studying Elementary Education. I have always enjoyed working with children and have been babysitting for friends and family and tutoring students for many years. These experiences have helped me realize how much I enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel supported. I hope to become an elementary school teacher in the future. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and staying active.

 I am a current sophomore Illinois State University majoring elementary education. I’ve worked with kids for over four years and honestly, it doesn’t even feel like a job because of how much fun I have doing it.

 Hello! My name is Paige and I am a student at ISU studying Nursing. I am working towards getting my BSN so I can be a pediatric oncology nurse then later get my Nurse Practitioner license. I have worked around kids my entire life from all age groups. My goal at Little Jewels is to create a loving, safe, fun environment, where every kid feels welcome. In my free time I like to bake, do crafts, go for walks with my dog, and hang out with friends!

 I am currently a junior at Illinois State University studying communication science and disorders. I plan to become a speech-language pathologist in a school setting, working with kids. I love working with children because they are so creative and cheerful. Whenever I spend time with children, I feel refreshed afterwards! In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends, watch movies, and work out.
